On Tat Bakelite Electric Works Ltd is also an approved BSI Kitemark licensee for manufacturing UK electric plugs under the world recognized BS EN ISO 9001 quality system since 1990, and they are also the first group of companies in the world that could achieve this Honorable Award at that time.
In addition, On Tat Bakelite Electric Works Ltd has invented three UK Patents for UK plugs, they are truely the " UK Plug Expert " having the greatest range of approved UK plugs in the world, and they have also improved the manufacturing of the UK plugs into a new stage by introducing a new patented method of making UK plug pins. By now, more than 90% of UK plug pins in the world are made from their original concept of UK Patent - GB 2186747.
